Childhood obesity is on the rise and kids aren't getting the daily physical activity they need. But neighbourhood superhero Y Guy is determined to do something about it — and you can help!

Y Healthy Habits

Channel your inner superhero at yhealthyhabits.org and discover all the fun ways you can help kids get healthy. Along with tips on eating well and getting fit, you can read The Adventures of Y Guy, make a pledge to fight childhood obesity and register for the YMCA Megathon.

Childhood obesity a growing problem

An astonishing 93% of kids need more physical activity. With excessive weight gain, kids are at higher risk of developing a range of health problems in childhood and later in life, including diabetes, heart disease, low self-esteem and even increased risk of bullying.

We need to make it better now. Visit yhealthyhabits.org and be a hero!
